Recording your notes with GearDictate is simple. Open up the application, login if required and hit record. GearDictate can prompt you for demographics so you can enter patient IDs, case numbers and more at the beginning of each dictation. As you record, you can easily rewind and review, as well as insert additional audio or overwrite previously recorded audio all with a very simple interface. Upon completion of the dictation, simply touch EOL (End of Letter) on the Olympus DR-1000 microphone or use your mouse to select End of Letter on the GearDictate screen. GearDictate will send the audio off to an Email address, FTP folder or across the network to transcription.
