Recording your notes with GearDictate is simple. Open up the application, login if required and step on the record pedal. GearDictate can prompt you for demographics if you choose so you can enter patient IDs, case numbers and more at the beginning of each dictation. As you record, you can easily rewind and review, all with the foot pedal, as well as insert additional audio or overwrite previously recorded audio all with a very simple interface. Upon completion of the dictation, simply touch EOL (End of Letter) on the GearDictate screen or step on the appropriate foot pedal. GearDictate will send the audio off to an Email address, FTP folder or across the network to transcription.
