5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Gear Player verses Express Scribe - 10-23-2012

Jackie, (Product Expert @ TG) Thank you so much for your help. My wife is again up and running. I have to tell you that after downloading GearPlayer she was immediately impressed with the quality of the sound. Using the same file she had played in Express Scribe she found sounds she had not been able to hear before. The quality of the sound output was so far superior in GearPlayer (and even in Windows Media Player) than in Express Scribe that she was astounded! It will make her job so much more pleasurable! Dan with Technical Service (@ TG) was also very helpful in getting us up and running this morning. Please pass on our thanks! I will continue to recommend TranscriptionGear and GearPlayer to anyone when the need arises.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Great program - 6-3-2012

I got the foot pedal and earphones - never heard earphones this clear and I've been transcribing for 24 years. Even with 24 years I'm not very computer savvy, but just loaded the program and started using it. I'm sure if I would take a tutorial I would learn more, but I have a deadline so need to meet that. All in all - couldn't be happier!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 It Beats Express Scribe!! Definitely - 3-25-2012

I type at home for a living. I had been using the free transcribing software Express Scribe. But I noticed it ws difficult to hear and really difficult to download the audio files. GearPlayer4 is simple to use. Click on the audio/video file you want and use your foot pedal! I also found with a better earphone system (mine, by another company allows me to turn up the volume even more). To have a simple loading transcribing application allows me to transcribe worry free. I would definitely advise repacing 'free' transcription software for dependable, easy to use, good quality equipment. JH

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Excellent all the way around. - 2-18-2012

When the company I worked for changed over to digital dictation/transcription, they chose the Gear Player software. I was amazed how easy it was to install, how quick it was to learn it, and how reliable it is. When I left my job and went freelance, I didn't think twice about transcription software...I chose the exact same Gear Player setup, and I couldn't be happier. Customer service is also SUPERB! I'd give you 10 stars if I could. Thumbs up all the way around!
