To setup the DPM Utility for automatic download follow these steps:

  • Open DPM Utility.
  • Click File>Configure automatic program options.
  • Check the box for “Begin automatic offload mode when the program is started.”
  • Click Ok.
  • Connect the DPM to the computer.
  • With the DPM docked, click Configure DPM>DPM Configuration.
  • Click on the Display/Download tab at the top of the window
  • Set Download mode to After Connecting.
  • Set Download File Type to All Files.
  • Check the box for File Deletion.

The delete option is optional to check.  Keep in mind that leaving this option unchecked will keep any dictations on the DPM.  This could cause multiple duplicate files being downloaded unless you manually delete the files individually from the DPM itself.
