With any of the Philips SpeechMikes selected, changing button control functions is possible.

  1. Under Menu in GearDictate™, choose Configuration.
  2. At the top of the Configuration window, click on the Microphone and Pedal Configuration tab.
  3. With the correct Mike already selected from the Select Microphone drop-down menu you will see a picture representation of the buttons on your Speech Mike. The buttons have white text over them, indicating their function. If you click on the radio button above the picture for Button Up or Button Down Functions, you can then click on any button with the text and assign a new function.

Be sure that after making any changes to the button functions, you click Save at the bottom to save changes made.
