First we must acquire the encryption key from the person sending the files to you. First if you don’t have the key the sender must give you the key. To do this please have them click on Exporting Encryption Key From GearXport for a full walk through on how to do so. Once we have received this file please do the following:

For Gearplayer 3 Decryption

  1. Save the key file that you have received on your desktop
  2. Open up Gearplayer and click on options
  3. In the options menu click on the “File and Control Definitions” tab
  4. Once here click on the “Import Key Files” button and navigate to the desktop and find the key file then click open.
  5. This will then prompt you with a box verifying all the information on the key click yes and you can now play all the encrypted files.

For Gearplayer 4 Decryption

  1. Save the key file that you have received on your desktop
  2. Click on “Tools” then import key
  3. Navigate to the desktop and find the key file then click open.
  4. This will then prompt you with a box verifying all the information on the key click yes and you can now play all the encrypted files.
