Making sure you’ve uninstalled before installing the update is very important. If you did not do this first you can run into many different errors. The first thing to do is uninstall and just reinstall again with your update.

When installing the update from the website you will want to make sure you’re updating with the correct version. Updating your version 3.xx with version 2.xx can also cause errors or the program to not function.

The errors can also be connected to not updating correctly due to not having correct permissions or your virus protection blocking the installation. Try disabling your virus protection and removing the program and reinstalling.
