What is the Default Key Press Emulation
If you are a Premium customer (12,000 minute plans and up), your key prompts may be different. Please contact us to verify. These prompts are for accounts under 12,000 minute plans.
Calling into the idigital dictation system is easy.
Step 1: Call into the dictation line, 866-364-3997 or 866-625-6412.
Step 2: Enter your user ID number and press #.
Step 3: Input your PIN number and press #.
Step 4: Begin dictating!
Key Pad Commands:
** Play confirmation number
1 Go to the beginning of the dictation and play
2 Play
3 Go to the end of the dictation and stop
4 Rewind
5 Pause
6 Fast forward
7 Play
8 Begin a new dictation
9 Disconnect from the system
0 Play confirmation number and begin a new dictation
*1 Set Priority Status
*2 Remove Priority Status
Additional Notes:
- Depending on how your ID is set up, you may be prompted beyond this point for things like a work type or a subject ID.
- As you become more familiar with dictating and you know the order of the information you are putting in, any time during the messages you can input key presses.
- If you would like to begin a new dictation with out hanging up the phone and redialing the dictation line, there are several options.
- To simply begin the next dictation, just press 8. If you need a confirmation number for keeping track of a specific dictation press 0 (zero). This will play the number through for you twice for the dictation you just completed and then start you on a fresh dictation.
Special Notes:
- If your files are being sent through the system and out via email to their destinations, it is recommended that each individual dictation is not longer then 15 minutes. This can cause issues for the person receiving the file.
- Dictations that go longer than 60 minutes will inform you that you have exceeded the maximum time limit for a dictation and ask you to press any key to continue. This will start you on a new dictation – if you had input any additional information like work types, the system will carry this information over for you into this new section so you can complete the remainder.
