If your LFH9850 is no longer reading off the prompts, this usually means that they were deleted off the memory card.
These prompts can be downloaded and placed back onto the card.
To download the prompts click on the following link: click here
Save this file to somewhere on your computer where you know you can find it like the desktop or My Documents.
After the download is complete you will need to extract these files since they are contained within a zipped folder.
To do this, right click on the files and choose Extract All. Then keep clicking Next to proceed through the extraction process. This new folder may open on its own. If it does not then open the folder yourself from where you downloaded and extracted it to.
You will need to copy the DPM-WAV folder for the English prompts. If you require any of the other languages, copy those folders as well.
Next open Computer (or My Computer) on your PC to view the devices with removable storage/removable disk.
Now connect the LFH9850 to your computer with the USB cable and press the Download button. You should see a new drive letter show up. This is the LFH9850.
Double-click on this new drive letter to open it.
Now you will need to paste the contents of your extracted folder onto this removable disk.
Pasting the DPM-WAV file will make the unit operate if you are set to use the English prompts.
If you wish to use any of the other languages then you should copy the rest of the folders from your WavePrompts folder.
After you have finished copying the folders over to the removable disk window, you can press Stop on the LFH9850.
This will cause the LFH9850 to disconnect from the computer, making it ready to take phone calls.
