This is not a supported use of the foot pedal and software, often you will still get it to work if you make sure it is the correct pedal.

The best way to try to get this to work is to plug in the adaptor first and see if your computer can install the drivers it needs to know what the adaptor is. Often the adaptor will come with a driver disk and instructions how to get your system to recognize the adaptor correctly.

Then when you plug your pedal in – go to your Tools and then Options; then go to the Foot Pedal tab, and confirm GearPlayer™ is looking for the correct pedal type.
