1. Ensure the HASP key is plugged in and has a green light
2. Click on the "Start" button then Right click on "Computer" and
select "Manage" (some versions of Windows you might need to click on
properties and then select the Device Manager tab)
3. If prompted, click continue.
4. On the left select "Device Manager" and on the right look for
"SmartDongle USB Security Key" It should have a yellow exclamation
point, or question mark.
5. Right-click on it and select "Update Driver Software"
6. Choose "Browse my computer...".
7. Click on "Browse" button, you can point the path to windows system
folder 'C:\windows\system32'. If installing for GearPlayer™ 4, use
'C:\Program Files\GearPlayer\Help\HASP\32'. Click on the "Next" button to continue.
8. After you click on Finish, the drivers should be installed and you
should be able to open the Gear Player without any prompting for the
HASP key.
