Shipping Agreement
TranscriptionGear uses UPS and USPS as our primary shipping carriers throughout the United States and the world. These selections are available at checkout in most scenarios. Please note there are scenarios where certain shipping options or methods are not available to your area. If you would like us to use your shipping carrier, please contact us with your order details and we can ship and bill shipping costs directly to your carrier’s account.
TranscriptionGear ships many of its products for free. When purchasing a product that ships free, “Economy” shipping is selected and will ship out via the carrier of our choice.
International Shipping
When shipping your order outside the US and US territories, you may be subject to import taxes and duties which are levied when your package reaches your country. Additional charges that may apply for customs clearance must be paid by the customer. We have no control over these tariffs, and therefore cannot predict what they may be. Please contact your local customs office for further inquires. These additional charges are not reflected in your invoice for goods purchased from TranscriptionGear which covers the purchase price of goods purchased and the applicable shipping to the destination.
If the customer refuses delivery of the package, the customer is still obligated to pay for any shipment, customs, taxes or duties fees that may be incurred. TranscriptionGear will charge the applicable fees to the customer’s credit card on record.
We would like our international customers to be aware that over-the-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In addition, we may be required to supply certain order, shipment and product information to international carriers. This information will be communicated to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and to comply with local laws.
Customs authorities require us to state the value of your order on all customs forms. Orders may be held up in customs for inspection, resulting in a delay in receiving your order. Please contact your customs office regarding shipment delays.
By placing your order on our site, you agree to this agreement and promise to accept shipment and pay all fees, taxes and other costs levied by shippers, customers and others.
